One-Part, Mildew-Resistant Silicone Sealant for Use T:T e S;Grade NS;Class 255; <br /> YP <br /> Uses T,M,and 0 with the additional capability,when tested per ASTM C 719, to <br /> ' withstand the following percentage changes in joint width as measured at time of <br /> application and still comply with other requirements of ASTMC920: <br /> ' a. 50 percent movement in both extension and compression for a total of 100 percent <br /> movement. <br /> ' 2.04 SEALANT BACKINGS, GENERAL <br /> A. Nonstaining;compatible with joint substrates,sealants,primers,and other joint fillers; <br /> approved for applications indicated by sealant manufacturer based on field experience and <br /> ' laboratory testing. <br /> 1. Plastic Foam Joint Fillers:Preformed, compressible,resilient, nonwaxing, <br /> ' nonextruding strips of plastic foam of material indicated below, and of size, <br /> shape, and density to control sealant depth and otherwise contribute to <br /> producing optimum sealant performance. <br /> ' 2. Closed-cell polyethylene form,nonabsorbent to liquid water and gas, <br /> nonoutgassing in unruptured state. <br /> 3. Bond-Breaker Tape: Polyethylene tape or other plastic tape as <br /> recommended by sealant manufacturer for preventing bond between <br /> ' sealant and joint filler or other materials at back of joint. <br /> 2.05 PRIMER <br /> iA.
