Verify that the existing waste and vent pipes are sized to accommodate the added fixtures(see Minnesota <br /> Rules,part 4715.2310 and part 4715.2520). <br /> 6. It is recommended that a cleanout be provided where new waste and vent piping connects with existing <br /> plumbing to facilitate required testing of the new installation. <br /> 7. Valves shall be installed permitting the water supply to each room or individual fixture to be shut off <br /> without disrupting any other portion of the building(see Minnesota Rules,part 4715.1800, subpart 6). <br /> 8. Pipe hangers and supports shall comply with Minnesota Rules,part 4715.1430. <br /> 9. Materials used for the plumbing system shall comply with the standards set forth in the Minnesota Plumbing <br /> Code(see Minnesota Rules,part 4715.0420). <br /> 10. T'he water distribution system shall be disinfected per Minnesota Rules,part 4715.2250. <br /> 11. The plumbing system shall be tested in accordance with Minnesota Rules,part 4715.2820. <br /> NOTE(S): <br /> 1. The scope of this project consists of remodeling an existing building. Installation includes a water heater, <br /> three wall hydrants,floor drains,a mop sink,two clothes washers,three pet wash tubs,two counter top <br /> sinks,and three restrooms. <br /> 2. The building is served by existing municipal sewer and water services. <br /> Authorization for construction in accordance with the approved plans may be withdrawn if the plumbing <br /> installation is not undertalcen within a period of one year.
