The new use is proposed as being a separate restaurant use with separate <br /> kitchen and dining facilities and will not have direct connections to the Saloon, but will <br /> share an entryway and restroom facilities with the Saloon. The following approvals are <br /> required: <br /> 1) CUP for establishing and operating a Class II restaurant with liquor. <br /> 2) Approval to allow outdoor seating at the rear of the new restaurant, adjacent to the City <br /> owned parking lot but within the applicant's property. <br /> 3) Applicant also proposes include an outdoor seating area at the rear of the Saloon <br /> operation. <br /> 4) The application is subject to the Site Plan Review process established via Ordinance <br /> No. 68 3`d Series in February 2010. <br /> Plartning Commission Recommendation: Planning Commission at its October 21 meeting <br /> on a vote of 7-0 recommended approval of the requested CUP and site plan approval, subject <br /> to adherence to all pertinent City codes and submission of a landscape/planting plan for <br /> Council review. <br /> Staff Recommendation: Approval subject to conditions. <br />
