Kearns: <br /> As you are aware the City of Orono has for some time now been working <br /> with the abutting landowners north of your property (Richard Raiche, <br /> etal) to clear up tax parcel and title problems between them and the <br /> ' City. We also discovered a "gap" in the legal descriptions between <br /> your property and theirs which needed your review. <br /> The Raiche property is now owned by Stephen and Suzanne Schmidt. Mr. - <br /> Raiche, the Schmidts and the City are now completing an agreement to <br /> resolve our differences. At the time we do that, we would also like <br /> to clear up two related questions which� will need your assistance. <br /> Please refer to the attached colored map, specifically those areas <br /> marked as parcels #4 and #5 . <br /> Parcel #4 is a "gap°' between the Union Oil property and the Rudh-Ulrick..� <br /> property to the west. There is a recorded driveway easement to the City <br /> over the east 7� ft. of the Rudh-Ulrick property, an+d over the west 7� ft. <br /> of the Union Oil property (see your attached title insurance description, <br /> schedule B item� #7 as sent to me on 9-15-81) . We would ask �hat you <br /> � agree to quit claim deed this gap area to the City so as to ensure good <br /> title to the City for the entire public driveway. The City is also <br /> receiving identical quit claim deeds for this same area from both Rudh- <br /> Ulrick and Raiche-Schmidt. <br /> Parcel #5 is the "gap" between the Union Oil and Raiche-Schmidt property. <br /> This area has been and is still included in the tax parcel description of <br /> � . ..... .._.. ... �.... � . n��n� i��.innVC A91.�1C0 <br />
