The precipitation received in the project area during the previous three months was within the normal
range (30-70'' percentile) for this area. Prior to the sample date of May 25, 2016, there was wet
precipitation in April, dry precipitation in March and normal precipitation in February. Therefore the field
work was completed under normal conditions according to the precipitation worksheet for wetland
delineations (Appendix C).
Based on the data reviewed and fieldwork conducted, two (2) areas were examined for wetland
characteristics within the subject property. Two (2) wetlands were ultimately delineated and are further
described within this report. The wetlands are identified as Wetlands A and B, which include sample
points 1-4.
Field data forms for each sample point are located in Appendix B. Refer to Figure 6 (Appendix B) for a
map of the investigation boundary, wetland basins, sampling transects, and area. Photos of the wetland
basin within the investigation boundary are included in Appendix C.
There is one prominent aquatic resource located along the southern edge of the investigation area. It is
listed as both a DNR Public Waters Inventory and a National Wetlands Inventory. It is listed as DNR PWI
Minnetonka-Lower Lake (27013302) and DNR NWI Lentic Lake Isolated Shallow Open Water Community
(L2UBH) (Figure 2, Appendix A).
Table 2.
