.� o�,.. <br /> 0 0 <br /> CITY of ORONO <br /> � �. � <br /> ti <br /> ��� �G�' RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> `9kESYiOg' NO. � � � � <br /> A RESOLUTION <br /> GRANTING VARIANCES <br /> TO THE ORONO,MINNESOTA, CITY CODE <br /> SECTIONS 78-350 AND 78-1288 <br /> FILE NO. 10-3456 <br /> WHEREAS, Steven B. Dore, a single person, (hereinafter "Owner") is the <br /> owner of the property located at 2172 Shadywood Road within the City of Orono <br /> (hereinafter "City") and legally described as: Lot 18 and that part of Lot 19 lying <br /> southeasterly of a line drawn parallel with the southeasterly line of said Lot 19 and distant <br /> 12.5 feet northwesterly therefrom in Block 1, WILEY'S PARK LAKE MINNETONKA <br /> Hennepin County, Minnesota(hereinafter "the Property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, True North Homes, Inc. has made application on behalf of the <br /> Owner to the City for variances to Orono Code Section 78-350 to allow construction of a <br /> replacement house on the Property which has a width at the lake shore of 62 feet when a lot <br /> width of 100 feet at the lakeshore is required and an area of 0.43 acre when an area of 0.50 <br /> acre is required; and <br /> WHEREAS, True North Homes, Inc. has made application on behalf of the <br /> Owner to the City for a variance to Orono Code Section 78-1288 to allow 38.96 percent <br /> hardcover in the 75 to 250 foot zone when 25 percent is allowed; and <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the Orono, Minnesota, City Code, the Orono Planning Commission <br /> held a public hearing on April 19, 2010, at which times all persons desiring to be heard <br /> concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: • <br /> FINDINGS <br /> l.
