We reviewed the plan for compliance with Chapter 79 of Orono's <br /> Land Use Code. We have the following comments with regards to engineering matters: <br /> • The grading plan is acceptable from an engineering standpoint. <br /> • The applicant has addressed all previous comments regarding erosion and <br /> sediment control except Chapter 79-9(g)(1),(2),(3),(4). The application can be <br /> made complete and acceptable by adding the following to the submittal <br /> documents. <br /> (g) Inspections and Maintenance. The applicant shall be responsible for <br /> conducting inspections and maintenance of all erosion and sediment <br /> control BMPs on site. <br /> (1) Inspections, maintenance, and rainfall on site must be <br /> documented and readily available for review. Inspections are <br /> required as followed: <br /> a. Once every seven (7) days on exposed soil areas. <br /> b. Within twenty-four (24) hours after a one half inch or <br /> greater rain event over twenty-four (24) hours. <br /> c. Once every thirly (30) days on stabilized areas. <br /> d. As soon as runoff occu'rs or prior to resuming construction <br /> on frozen ground. <br />
