■ Silt fence or an approved perimeter control device shall be installed to control , <br /> runoff <br /> ■ Soil stockpiles should be eliminated or consolidated to the extent as possible and be � <br /> protected with perimeter control and mulch applied on all stockpiles that will remain <br /> dormant for the winter months. <br /> ■ Storm Sewer inlet protection including curb and gutter catch basins, parking <br /> lot/road drains, and backyard drop inlets must be: <br /> o Maintained in a manner where all removal of sediment and debris, repairs as <br /> necessary, and or replacement are completed by November 26�', 2009. <br /> Sediment shall be removed when occupying greater than 1/3 the volume of the <br /> device, placed in an upland area and stabilized. <br /> o All "in-structure" and "on-structure devices shall be removed from the storm <br /> sewer inlets by November 26�', 2009 and re-installed in the storm sewer inlets <br /> by April l, 2010. <br /> BMP installation, such as silt fence,has a tendency to be more costly to install during the winter <br /> months therefore it is recommended that all installation occur prior to the ground freezing on <br /> sites where work is proposed to be done during the winter months.
