Mabusth <br /> City of Orono <br /> P O Box 66 <br /> Crystal Bay MN 55323-0066 <br /> Dear Jeanne: <br /> This is in response to you're letter of July 2, 1991 as <br /> concerns location of our boat dock. <br /> Hancy and I have decided that we will remove the dock. <br /> Before we constructed the dock we measured off where we <br /> thought the property came to the lake and thought we were <br /> within the confines of what we owned. We had purchased this <br /> property to use for our dock. <br /> What has happened now, is that we aannot spend any more <br /> money for additional surveys, permits, legal council etc. We <br /> are in our senior years and are close to retirement. Our <br /> financial goals do not include any additional expenses. To <br /> put it very simply, we do not have the money for legal fees <br /> to justify what is legally ours. When a situation becomes <br /> this frustrating it is time to �ust back away. So, we will <br /> �ust have to capitulate to the greed of others and live with <br /> our disappointment. <br /> We want you to understand that we have no quarrel with you <br /> personally or the city of Orono. I appears to us that you <br /> are only doing what the law requires. Please be <br /> understanding and give us some time to remove the mentioned <br /> dock. We don't have any one right now to help us, and at the <br /> age of sixty two Hancy and I can only do what we have the <br /> energy to accomplish at any given time. <br /> If you should have any questions and/or recommendations, <br /> please feel free to contact us. <br /> Sincerely <br /> n and Hancy Tillotson <br />
