You should be advised that a building permit is <br /> required when you initially install your seasonal dock. This is <br /> the opportunity for the City to assure that all standards for <br /> insta l lation of docks a long a channe 1 are met and that the dock <br /> is placed within the boundaries of your property. <br /> The City asks that you submit an application for a building <br /> permit and to provide a survey/sketch of the boundaries of the <br /> property and the location of the dock. Since there is a question <br /> as to an encrv�chment into an acljacent prvperty, we would ask <br /> that you stake your portion of the lakeshore so that an <br /> inspection can confirm the location of the dock.
