Lumber and panel products with factory-applied opaque finish,8- 1/2 inches by 11 inches <br /> for panels and 50 square inches for lumber,for each fmish system and color,with one half <br /> of exposed surface fmished. <br /> 5. Laminate clad panel products,8-1/2 inches,by 11 inches for each type,color,pattern,and <br /> surface finish,with separate saznples of unfaced panel product used for core. <br /> 6. Miter joints for standing trim. <br /> 7. Exposed cabinet hardware,one unit of each type and fmish. <br /> 1.4 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> A. Manufacturer Qualifications: Firm experienced in successfully producing architectural woodwork <br /> similar to that indicated for this Proj ect,with sufficient production capacity to produce required units without <br /> causing delay in the Work. <br /> B. Single-Source Manufacturing and Installation Responsibility: Engage a qualified Manufacturer to <br /> assume undivided responsibility for woodwork specified in this section,including fabrication,finishing,and <br /> installation. <br /> a. Casework. <br /> b. Plastic laminate countertops. <br /> c. Other types of countertops. <br /> d. Stairs <br /> C. Hardware Coordination: Distribute copies of approved scheduled for cabinet hardware specified in <br /> Division 8 Section"Finish Hardware"to manufacturer of architectural woodwork;coordinate cabinet shop <br /> drawings and fabrication with hardware requirements. <br /> 1.5 DELIVERY,STORAGE,AND HANDLING <br /> A. Prnteci vs+oodvvnrk during transit,delivery,storage,and handling to prevent damage,soilage,and <br /> deterioration. <br /> B. Do not deliver woodwork until painting,wet work,grinding,and similar operations that could <br /> damage, soil, or deteriorate woodwork have been completed in installation areas. If woodwork must be <br /> stored in other than installafion areas,store only in areas whose environmental conditions meet requirements <br /> specified in"Project Conditions." <br /> 1.6 PROJECT CONDTTIONS <br /> A. Environmental Conditions: Obtain and comply with Woodwork Manufacturer's and Installer's <br /> coordinated advice for optimum temperature and humidity conditions for woodwork during its storage and <br /> installation.
