Drawings and general provisions of Contract,including General and Supplementary Conditions <br /> and Division 1 Specification Sections,apply to this Section. <br /> 1.2 SUMMARY <br /> A. This Section includes the following: <br /> 1. Unglazed ceramic mosaic tile. <br /> 2. Glazed wall tile. <br /> 3. Stone Flooring. <br /> B. Related Sections: The following sections contain requirements that relate to this Section: <br /> 1. Division 3 Section"Concrete Work"for monolithic slab finishes specified for tile <br /> substrates. <br /> 2. Division 7 Section"Joint Sealers"for sealing of expansion,contraction,control, <br /> and isolation joints in tile surfaces <br /> 1.3 SUBMITTALS <br /> A. General: Submit the following in accordance with Conditions of Contract and Division 1 <br /> Specification Sections. <br /> B. Product data for each type of product specified. <br /> C. Shop drawings indicating tile patterns and locations and widths of elcpansion,contraction, <br /> control,and isolation joints in tile substrates and finished tile surfaces. <br /> D. Samples shall be picked by Owner. Samples shall show size,color and texture variations, in sets <br /> showing full range of variations expected. <br /> 1. Type and stone and composition of tile for each color and texture required. <br /> 2. Full-size units of each type of trim and accessory for each material required. <br /> 3. Stone thresholds. <br /> E. Master grade certificates for each shipment,type,and composition of tile,signed by tile <br /> manufacturer and Installer. <br /> F. Material test reports from qualified independent testing laboratory indicating and interpreting test <br /> results relative to compliance of tile and tile setting and grouting products with requirements indicated. <br /> 1.4 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> A. Installer Qualifications: Engage an experienced Installer who has successfully completed tile <br /> installations similar in material,design,and extent to that indicated for Project. <br /> Page 1 of 6 <br />
