Sealed Insulating Glass Units: Preassembled units consisting of organically sealed lites of <br /> glass sepazated by dehydrated air spaces complying with ASTM E 774 and with other requirements indicated, <br /> including those in Insulating Glass Product Data Sheet at the end of this Section. <br /> 1. General: Provide products of type indicated,complying with the following requirements: <br /> 1. Compatibility: Select glazing sealants and tapes ofproven compatibility with other materials they <br /> will contact, including glass products, seals of insulating glass units, and glazing channel <br /> substrates, under conditions of installation and service, as demonstrated by testing and field <br /> experience. <br /> 2. Suitability: Comply with sealant and glass manufactwer's recommendations for selecting glazing <br /> sealants and tapes that are suitable for applications indicated and conditions existing at time of <br /> installation. <br /> 3. Colors: Provide color of exposed joint sealants to comply with the following: <br /> 4. Provide selections made by Architect from manufacturer's full range of standard colors for <br /> products of type indicated. <br /> B. Elastomeric Glazing Sealant Standard: Provide manufacturei's standard chemically curing, <br /> elastomeric sealants of base polymer indicated that comply with ASTM C 920 requirements indicated on each <br /> Elastomeric Glazing Sealant Product Data Sheet at the end of this Section, including those referencing ASTM <br /> classifications for Type,Grade,Class and Uses. <br /> . 1. Additional Movement Capability: Where additional movement capability is specified in <br /> Elastomeric Glazing Sealant Product Data Sheet,provide products,when tested for adhesion and <br /> cohesion under maximum cyclic movement per ASTM C 719,with the capability to withstand the <br /> specified percentage change in the joint width existing at time of installation and remain in <br /> compliance with other requirements of ASTM C 920 for uses indicated. <br /> 2.6 GLAZING TAPES <br /> A.
