Safety Glass Standard: Provide the type of products indicated that comply with ANSI Z97.1 <br /> and testing requirements of 16 CFR Part 1201 for Category II materials. <br /> 1. Provide safety glass permanently marked with the certification label of the Safety Glazing <br /> Certification Council(SGCC)or other certification agency acceptable to authorities having <br /> jurisdiction. <br /> C. Glazing Standards: Comply with recommendations of the Flat Glass Marketing Association <br /> (FGMA)"Glazing Manual"and"Sealant Manual"except where more stringent requirements are indicated. <br /> D. Field Measurements: Check actual window openings by accurate field measurement before <br /> fabrication. Show recorded measurements on final shop drawings. Coordinate fabrication schedule with <br /> construction progress to avoid delay. <br /> 1. Where necessary, proceed with fabrication without measurements, and coordinate <br /> tolerances with General Contractor to ensure proper fit of window units. <br /> 1.7 WA�Z;RANTY <br /> A. Wood Window Warranty: Submit a written warranty,executed by the window manufacturer, <br /> agreeing to repair or replace units that fail in materials or worl�anship within the specified warranty period. <br /> Failures include,but are not necessarily limited to: <br /> 1. Structural failures,including excessive deflection,excessive leakage,or air infiltration. <br /> 2. Faulty operation of window sash or hardware. <br /> 3. Deterioration of wood,metals,finishes,and other materials beyond normal weathering. <br /> B. Warranty Period: 3years after the date of Substantial Completion. <br /> C. The warranty shall not deprive the Owner of other rights or remedies that the Owner may have under <br /> other provisions of the Contract Documents and is in addition to and runs concurrent with other warranties <br /> made by the Contractor under requirements of the Contract Documents. <br /> PART 2-PRODUCTS <br /> 2.1 MANUFACTURERS <br /> A.
