3.2 INSTALLATION <br /> A. Comply with manufacture�'s instauctions and recommendations for installing door units, <br /> hardware,accessories,and other components. <br /> B. Set sill members and other frame members in bed of compound or with joint fillers or gaskets,as <br /> indicated,to provide weathertight construction. Coordinate installation with wall flashing and other <br /> components. <br /> 1. Refer to Division 7 Section"Joint Sealants"for compounds, fiilers,and gaskets to be <br /> installed concurrently with wood sliding glass door units. <br /> C. Set units plumb,level and true to line,without warp or rack of frames and panels. Provide <br /> proper support,and anchor frames and fixed panels securely in place. <br /> 3.3 ADJUSTING <br /> A. Adjust operating panels,screens,and hardware to provide a tight fit at contact points and <br /> weatherstripping for smooth operation and a weathertight closure. <br /> 3.4 CLEANING <br /> A. Clean surfaces promptly after installing wood sliding glass doors. Avoid damaging protective <br /> coatings and finishes. Remove excess glazing and sealing compounds,dirt,and other substances. <br /> Lubricate hardware and other moving parts. <br /> B. Clean glass of preglazed units promptly after installing wood sliding giass door units. Wash and <br /> polish glass on both faces not more than 4 days prior to the date scheduled for final inspection. Comply <br /> with manufacturer's recommendations for fmal cleaning and maintenance. <br /> C. Remove and replace glass that is broken,chipped,cracked,abraded,or damaged in any other <br /> way during the construction period,including by natural causes,accidents,or vandalism. <br /> 3.5 PROTECTION <br /> A.
