���p CITY OF ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> y �,C'' NO. <br /> � 1b8 <br /> � L <br /> `�kFS HOQ`� <br /> A RESOLUTION <br /> APPROVING A VARIANCE FROM <br /> MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SEG"TION 7&330 <br /> FILE N0. 17-3938 <br /> WHEREAS, on;Tune 12, 2017, TC Homes (Brian Tutt) as agent for Nancy Bloms <br /> ("Applicant[sJ"), applied for a variance from the City Code for the property addressed 1325 Rest <br /> Point Lane and legally described�as: <br /> Lot 74, Tonka View Gardens, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter the <br /> «��m'"). <br /> � <br /> WHEREAS, the Applicants have made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> variance to Orono Municipal Zaning Code Section 78-330 to allow a single family home within <br /> the side street setback and on a tyon-conforniing lot as to its width and area; and <br /> WHEREAS,on 1WIay 15,2017,after published and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the City Code, the Planning Commission held a public hearing, at wluch <br /> time all persons desiring to be heard concerning this application were given the opporiunity to <br /> speak thereon; and <br /> WHEREAS, on May 15, 2017,the Planning Commission recommended approval <br /> of the variance; and <br /> WHEREAS,on Jiune 12, 2017, the City Council reviewed the applicarion and the <br /> recommendations of the Planning Commission and City staff;and <br /> NOW, THERE�'IURE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota hereby approves the re�quested variance as describe�above based on one or more of the <br /> following findings of fact concert�ing the Property: <br /> FINDINGS OF FACT: <br /> 1.
