The following comment(s) outline the changes andior additional inf�rmatiou t11at must be <br /> submitted so that we can further evaluate the plans and specifications for compliance with the standards of this <br /> department: <br /> 1. All pot, scullery, food prep, and bar sinks must be provided with a floor drain on the individual drainage <br /> branch serving each sink. This floor drain must not be equipped with a backwater valve (see Minnesota <br /> Rules, part 4715.1390, subpart 2). Each food prep and each pot/scullery sink must comply with this <br /> requirement. Please revise the plans and show this accordingly. <br /> 2. All commercial kitchen sinks, with the exception of mop sinks and hand sinks, shall be provided with 3/4- <br /> inch hot and cold water supply branch lines as a minimum (see Minnesota Rules, part 4715.1730, <br /> subpart 2). <br /> 3. Sufficient hot water shall be provided to adequately serve fixtures that require hot water for the proper <br /> functioning of the fixtures. Please review and verify compliance for this requirement. <br /> 4. Our understanding is that the plumbing system designer, Mr. Mike Garrity, PM061582 is no longer with <br /> your company. Minnesota licensing law allows a master plumber to design and install his own installation. <br /> Therefore, a new set of plans must be submitted with a signature of the master plumber for your company. <br /> Please submit the requested information promptly so we may complete our plan review. No construction related <br /> to the above-referenced plans shall begin until approval is provided by our office.
