Bagley <br /> recorded tho minutes. <br /> It was moved and secondec� that the minutes of the <br /> last meeting held on July 11, 1955 be approved as read. <br /> Mr. Carl Phil;l_ippi, representing the Orono Taxpay- <br /> ers � Associat:ion, appe�red with a requeat that the Board review <br /> certain information which he supplied relatin� to Rural Hennepin <br /> County Park Bill passed by the 195� legislaturo . <br /> b <br /> ? Mrs. Floyd Coti�eral, represented �tho law firm of <br /> Bonham & Kavanagh appeared, as did a substantial delegation <br /> of residents, toP�est her eviction from conduct:ing a farm pro- , <br /> duce business at the Orono Corner. After considerable testi- <br /> mony had been given the P�fayor stated that the matter would be <br /> taken under advisoment pending furthQr investigation and a <br /> chec�: on the legal aspects involved. <br /> r, Mr. P�1. A. R. Krogness requested that the Lake Painting <br /> Company be asked to remove its sign from the highway, it being , <br /> pointed out that this was in violation of an existing ordinance. <br /> He was advised that the matter would be given attention by the <br /> Bo�rd. <br /> Mr. Feriss, Roctor of the Cryst;al Bay Presb�terian <br /> Church, appeared before the Board and requested that 'Stop'� <br /> sign.s bo provided on the Village road near his church. He was <br /> to�ld that every efiort would be made to provide same in the <br /> near futuro . His furthor request that an oil coat be put on , <br /> Fox Road was taken under advisc�ment. � ' <br /> � Mr. Fisher rqquested the Board to see to it that an <br /> improvement bo made at the turn in the Village road near Ted <br /> Maxwell' s garden. This was taken under advisernont . <br /> i <br /> Mr . Pauly po3.nted out that a serious surface water ' <br /> problem had developed at his property off of #L4.3 near Forest <br /> Lake . Water was running under the Village road through a cul- <br /> vert and over tlis proporty. It was poin�;ed out that there <br /> appeared to be no satisfactory solution of the problem and that <br /> since this was a natural water course anyway there was probably <br /> nothing that tho Board could do .to correct it. <br /> a <br />
