MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE ORONO COUNCIL HELD OCTOBER l, 1984 . <br /> � �, ATTENDANCE 7 :00 PM The Orono Council held a special meeting on the above <br /> . date to discuss the 1985 budget, with the following <br /> members present: Mayor Butler, Councilmembers <br /> Grabek, Adams and Hammerel. Councilmember Frahm <br /> arrived at 7 : 30 p.m. City Finance Director Kuehn and <br /> Public Works Coordinator Gerhardson represented the <br /> City staff . <br /> 1985 BUDGET Councilrequested thefollowinginformation regarding <br /> ' the Police Department fleet of squad cars : schedule <br /> of car use , size of fleet, and need for retaining one <br /> extra car in 1985 . <br /> Councilmember Frahm moved , Maycr Butler seconded , to <br /> amend the 1985 budget as follows : <br /> Improvement and Equipment Outlay Fund: <br /> Government Buildings - Eliminate central air <br /> conditioningforthe CouncilChambers, deduct $2 , 000 . <br /> Eliminate the front entryway addition for the <br /> Administration Building, deduct $4 , 000 . Add $200 <br /> forrelocating theAdministrative Buildingfront door <br /> municipal payments drop box to the side entrance, and <br /> altering the front door to provide for an emergency <br /> � exit push bar. <br /> Civil Defense - Eliminate the siren capital outlay for <br /> the Navarre Ylater Plant, deduct $6 , 500 . <br /> Total Adjustments : <br /> Improvement & Equipment Outlay Fund : <br /> Deductions $12 , 500 <br /> Additions 200 <br /> _ General Fund none <br /> Motion, Ayes (5 ) , Nays (0 ) . <br /> RESOLUTION �1682 <br /> DELINQUENT ON-SITE SEPTIC <br /> Mayor Butler moved, Councilmember Hammerel seconded , <br /> to adopt Resolution �1682 , A Resolution providing <br /> for the collection of delinquent 1984 annual service <br /> charges for the On-Site Sewage Treatment Inspection <br /> Program. Motion, Ayes (5 ) , Nays ( 0 ) . <br /> R.ESOLUTION #1683 <br /> DELINQUENT SEWER/WATER Mayor Butler moved, Councilmember Frahm seconded , to <br /> adopt Resolution #1683, A Resolution providing for the <br /> collection of delinquent 1984 sewer and water service <br /> - � charges. blotion, Ayes (5 ) , Nays ( 0 ) . <br />
