<br /> The Orono Council met on the above date with the
<br /> following members present: Acting Mayor Butler ,
<br /> Councilmembers Hannah, Hurr , and Paurus. Absent :
<br /> Mayor Van Nest. Also present: City Planner Olson,
<br /> City Attorney Malkerson, City Engineer Cook, Public
<br /> Works Coordinator Gerhardson, Planning Commission
<br /> member Jabbour, Zoning Administrator Mabusth, Park
<br /> Commission meriber Tomlinson, and City Clerk Strom.
<br /> Absentc, City Administrator Benson.
<br /> Hurr moved, Hannah seconded, to approve the Consent CONSENT AGENDA*
<br /> Agenda* , subject to removing items 2 , 3, & 4 , and
<br /> to include items 8 & 9 as information items only,
<br /> with all staff reports concerning items reviewed at
<br /> this meeting to be attached to the original copy of
<br /> these minutes on file in the City Clerk ' s office .

<br /> Hannah moved, Hurr seconded, to approve the Minutes MINUTES
<br /> of the Reconvened Board of Review Meeting of June 24 , Board of Review
<br /> 1981 , as amended. Motion, Ayes (4} - Nays (0) .
<br /> Hurr moved, Hannah seconded, to approve the Minutes MINUTES*
<br /> of the Second Reconvened Board of Review Meeting of Board of Review
<br /> June 29 , 1981 . Motion, Ayes (4 ) - Nays (0 ) .
<br /> Lee Tomlinson, Park Commission Chairman, was PARK COMMISSION REPORT
<br /> present to discuss the status of City parks .
<br /> Mr . Tomlinson reviewed with the City Council the SUMMIT PARK
<br /> status of Summit Park stating that the Park
<br /> Commission recommends to the City Council to install
<br /> trash barrels and picnic tables on that site but not
<br /> make a swimming beach at the present time .
<br /> Paurus moved, Hurr seconded, to request staff
<br /> recommendations for use and suggested appurtenances
<br /> and costs for Summit Park. Motion, Ayes (4 ) -
<br /> Nays (0 ) .
