Box 66 <br /> Orono, MN 55356 Crystal Bay, MN 55323-0066 <br /> October 3, 1997 <br /> Lyle Kasprick <br /> 1067 Linden Lane <br /> Orono, Minnesota 55364-9754 <br /> Re: 1065 Linden Lane <br /> Dear Mr. Kasprick: <br /> The City has received a complaint regarding a pool on the property you own at 1065 Linden�,ane. <br /> In researching the files I found that when the house was removed from the property,the City granted <br /> the previous owner pernussion to keep the pool until a new residence was built on the property, but <br /> no later than December l, 1992. <br /> A pool is considered an accessory structure and Orono Municipal Code does not allow an accessory <br /> structure without a principal structure on a piece of property.The pool is considered to be a hazard <br /> to the public and animals and could be breeding mosquitos. Therefore it should be removed and the <br /> hole backfilled. If you have a reason to keep it, the City Council would have to grant you <br /> permission. If it is to be removed, a demo permit is required for record keeping purposes, and an <br /> inspection would be required before backfilling to verify that it has been completely removed from <br /> the ground. <br /> Please respond in writing within the next two weeks on how you wish to proceed.
