CITY OF ORONO <br /> Special Meeting of the City Council, 7: 10 P.M. <br /> June 18, 1974 <br /> The City Council met on the above date <br /> with the following members present: Mayor <br /> Searles, Councilmen Butler, Massengale, <br /> Paurus , and Welsh. • <br /> Paurus moved, Butler seconded, that the PARTENWOOD SEWERS <br /> Engineer should prepare a cost analysis Maxwell Bay Side <br /> of the sanitary sewer along Maxwell Bay <br /> side of the Partenwood plat to be compared <br /> against the cost of pumping Lots 1-2-3, <br /> Block 1 of the subject plat together with <br /> deepening the line on Partenwood Road to <br /> serve Lot 4 , Block l. The Engineer would <br /> prepare these costs and present them to <br /> the Council on June 25, 1974. Discussion <br /> was held on this matter with two of the <br /> home owners involved. Motion, Ayes (4) - <br /> Nays (1) . Councilman Massengale Nay. <br /> PARTENWOOD SEWERS <br /> Butler moved, Welsh seconded, that the Stubb' s Bay Side <br /> gravity line along the Stubb' s Bay side <br /> of the Partenwood plat be eliminated and <br /> a lift station be constructed north of the <br /> Partenwood plat. Open for discussion - , , <br /> Dick Benson recommended a lift station. <br /> Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (1) . Councilman <br /> Massengale Nay. <br /> Welsh moved, Butler seconded, that the design NORTH ARM SEWER <br /> concept of a lakeside sewer on North Arm, <br /> located north of Windjammer Lane be approved. <br /> Also, a lift station to be located near or <br /> on the Franzel property.
