Even though the vehicle <br /> appears to be currently licensed and road worthy, it is not allowed to be parked on the grass in <br /> the front yard. The City of Orono Zoning Ordinance requires that vehicles be parked in areas <br /> other than a required yard (front) and even then must be at least 10 feet from the property line. <br /> I have already discussed this issue with the City Attorney. <br /> Please find enclosed a copy of the ordinance for your convenience. The vehicle must be <br /> moved/removed by September 28, 2009. Staff from this Office will inspect the property on that <br /> date to confirm compliance.
