ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MINUTES FOR JANUARY 27, 1997 <br />• ROLL <br />The Council met on the above mentioned date with the following members present: <br />Mayor Gabriel Jabbour, Council Members J. Diann Goetten, Charles Kelley, and Barbara <br />Peterson. Representing Staff were City Administrator Ron Moorse, City Attorney Tom <br />Radio, Assistant Planning and Zoning Administrator Michael Gaffron, Planner Elizabeth <br />Van Zomeren, Public Services Director Greg Gappa, and Recorder Sherry Frost. Mayor <br />Jabbour called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />( #1) OATH OF OFFICE - COREY FARNIOK, POLICE OFFICER <br />City Administrator Moorse administered the oath of office to Corey Farniok as Police <br />Officer. <br />(42) CONSENT AGENDA <br />Items #7, S, 11, 14, and 15 were added to the Consent Agenda. <br />Goetten moved, Peterson seconded, to approve the Consent Agenda as amended. Vote: <br />Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />• APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />( * #3) REGULAR MEETING OF JANUARY 13, 1997 <br />Goetten moved, Peterson seconded, to approve the Minutes of the Regular City Council <br />Meeting of January 13, 1997. Vote: Ayes 4, Nay 0. <br />PARK COMMISSION COMMENTS <br />Susan Wilson invited the Council to attend the Friend of the Parks Award Ceremony on <br />Monday, February 3, 1997 at 7:00 p.m. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION COMMENTS <br />No report was given. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />There were no public comments. <br />40 <br />1 <br />
