A, <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 9, 1987 <br />7 'SMANCE 7:00 P.M. <br />The Orono Council met on the above date with the <br />following members present: Mayor Grabek, Councilmembers <br />Sime, Peterson, Callahan, and Goetten. The following <br />represented the City staff: City Administrator <br />Bernhardson, Public Works Director Gerhardson, Building <br />& Zoning Administrator Mabusth, Assistant Planning & <br />Zoning Administrator Gaffron, and City. Recorder <br />Peterson. City Attorney Blatz and City Engineer Cook <br />were also present. <br />CONSENT AGENDA* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to approve the Consent Agenda <br />subject to removal of the following items: <br />#3 - Approval of 10/26/87 Minutes - requested by <br />Councilmember Goetten <br />#23 - Hackberry Hill Park Well Installation - <br />requested by Councilmember Peterson <br />#26 - Administrator's Information -Metro Goose Hunt - <br />requested by Councilmember Goetten <br />Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />DESIGNATION OF TOM BRUNANSRY DAY <br />NOVEMBER 27, 1987 <br />F °SOLUTION 12288 <br />It was moved by Councilmember Callahan, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to adopt Resolution #2288 <br />declaring November 27, 1987 as Tom Brunansky Day in the <br />City of Orono. Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Councilmember Goetten requested amending comments made <br />by her in the Minutes as follows: <br />#1168 Helstrom (Page 3) _ <br />" Councilmember Goetten felt that the patio area <br />under the deck /porch that extends beyond the <br />deck /porch could also be removed to decrease the <br />hardcover from 45.7%." <br />#1188 Kaplan (Page 8) <br />"She noted that none of them were riparian lots <br />(with the exception of the Smiley lot) and none <br />required additional variances for the existing <br />homestead lots." <br />PLANNING COMMISSION COMMENTS <br />Planning Commissioner Brown arrived later in the meeting <br />and had no comments. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />There were no comments from the public. <br />1 <br />
