• <br />MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />Monday, April 11, 2011 <br />7:00 o'clock p.m. <br />ROLL CALL <br />The Orono City Council met on the above - mentioned date with the following members present: Mayor <br />Lili Tod McMillan, Council Members Cynthia Bremer, Doug Franchot, Aaron Printup, and David Rahn. <br />Representing Staff were City Administrator Jessica Loftus, City Attorney Soren Mattick, Finance <br />Director Ron Olson, City Clerk Lin Vee, Assistant City Administrator of Long -Term Strategic Planning <br />Mike Gaffron, Planning Coordinator Melanie Curtis, City Engineer Tom Kellogg, and Recorder Jackie <br />Young. <br />Mayor McMillan called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m., followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />No items were added to the Consent Agenda. <br />Bremer moved, Printup seconded, to approve the Consent Agenda as submitted. VOTE: Ayes 5, <br />Nays 0. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />*2. COUNCIL WORK SESSION OF MARCH 28, 2011 <br />• Bremer moved, Printup seconded, to approve the minutes of the Orono City Council work session <br />of March 28, 2011, as submitted. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />• <br />*3. REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING OF MARCH 28, 2011 <br />Bremer moved, Printup seconded, to approve the minutes of the Orono City Council meeting of <br />March 28, 2011, as submitted. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />RECOGNITION <br />4. PLANNING COMMISSION CHAIR KIM KANG - RESOLUTION NO. 6035 <br />McMillan read the resolution of appreciation being awarded to Kim Kang. <br />Bremer stated she was sad that Kim Kang had chosen to leave the Planning Commission but understood <br />how that happens and expressed her appreciation for Kang's outstanding service. <br />Bremer moved, Rahn seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 6035, a Resolution of Appreciation to <br />Kim Kang for Dedicated Service to the City of Orono.
