' M[INUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />Monday, August 8, 2005 <br />• 7:00 o'cl ck p.m. <br />ROLL <br />The Orono City Council met on the above - mentioned 'date with the following members present: Mayor <br />Barbara Peterson; Council Members Bob Sansevere, Jim Murphy, Jim White, and Lili McMillan; City <br />Attorney Thomas Barrett; Representing Staff were City Administrator Ron Moorse, Planning Director <br />Mike Gaffron, Planners Melanie Curtis and Janice Gundlach; Engineer Tom Kellogg (arrived at 7:18 <br />p.m.), Public Service Director Greg Gappa, and Recorder Jackie_Young_ <br />Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m., followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. RECOGNITION OF HENNEPIN Cd <br />DEPARTMENT, LONG LAKE FIRE DEPT <br />OUTSTANDING SERVICE RELATED TO <br />'WATER PATROL, ORONO POLICE <br />NT AND EXCELSIOR FIRE DISTRICT FOR <br />MINNETONKA <br />The Orono City Council recognized the members of'the Hennepin County Water Patrol, the Orono Police <br />Department, the Long Lake Fire Department, and the Excelsior Fire District for their outstanding service, <br />particularly related to a number of incidents on Lake Minnetonka. <br />PAGE 1 <br />
