Diann Goetten and Mary Butler. The following <br />represented the City staff: City Administrator Ron Moorse, Public <br />Works Director John Gerhardson, Building & Zoning Administrator <br />Jeanne Mabusth, Assistant Planning and Zoning Administrator Michael <br />Gaffron, Police Chief Stephen Sullivan. City Attorney Tom Barrett, <br />City Engineer Glenn Cook, and City Recorder Teri Naab. Mayor <br />Peterson called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. <br />(il) CONSENT AGENDA <br />Goetten removed Item #12 from the consent agenda. <br />Jabbour added Item #4 and #6. <br />Butler removed Item #14. <br />It was moved by Butler, seconded by Goetten, to approve the Consent <br />Agenda as amended. Ayes 5, nays 0. <br />Motions for all items adopted by consent agenda will be Included <br />In the minutes In their respective numerical order. <br />(»#2) APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />It was moved by Butler, seconded by Goetten, to approve the minutes <br />of the regular meeting of the Orono Counci I held on Apr!I 13, 1992. <br />Ayes 5, nays 0. <br />PARK CcMHiSSION COMMENTS <br />Dick Flint, Chair of the Park Commission, was present to explain <br />progress on the bike/hike trail. He explained that it was <br />determined by a survey of the residents that a traiI system was a <br />high priority. A conceptual plan for a trail system has been <br />approved by the Council. The Park Commission enlisted the help ol <br />Hennepin County regarding the design. He noted that at the last <br />Park Commission meeting, residents were invited to comment on the <br />proposeo trail system. The Park Commission did not get a clear <br />Indication from the residents regarding their feelings on the trail <br />system. The Park Commission unanimously voted in favor of the <br />t all and Is now requesting a feasibility study for the project. <br />He introduced Jim White, Hennepin County Park Commissioner: Doug <br />Bryant, Super I ntendent, Don King and Del Mi I ler from Hennepin <br />County. <br />1
