Toe Ralph Martin
rROKa Dick Benson
RE1 Blaine Ave.
DAM June 20, 1972
Ronald Kullberg owns the Ronnies Cleaners located at the Inter-
section of County #15 and Blaine Ave. The cleaning establisiwient
that faces Blaine Ave. is set back 78 feet 7 Indus with a parking
lot between the building and street.
We have three problems that require our attention, the problems
are listed " follows,
1. During construction of the water plant and mater
mainsg the con tractors involved used or parked
heavy equipment on the parking lot causing it to
unravel in several areas.
2. Upon completion of the restoration It is impossible
for people traveling either north or south to
distinguish between Blaine Ave. and Kullbergs parking
lot. Blaine Ave. is only 15 feet wide including
right-of-way. The street is 1,056 in length and
at beat can accommodate one way traffic. Cars
traveling cn Blaine Ave drive on and speed through
the parking lot to Highway #15 mating a hazardous
49nditlo4 which is not enhanced by the stop sign
bung reinstalled in the wrong location.
3• Ronald Kullberg has decided to install guard rail
posts on his property line separating his parking
lot from the street. Establishing these lines will
complicate the street maintenance in this area.
With G & 3 Cabinets located on one side and guard
rail posts on the other, two cars traveling in
q:.osite directions is not possible particularily in
the winter months when snows choke the width of the
street.
These solutions are recommended
1. Have responsible parties repair the parking lot
with contractors monies or construction funds.
2. Reinstall the stop sign.
3• Install one way traffic signs on Blaine Ave. allow-
ing traffic to travel in one direction "South" to
County Road #15. This will allot residents to
retain their short out route to #15.
Respectfully submitted, ck Bo n
