Shallow Trench System. <br />2. Proposed Flow Rate. <br />2 bedrooms 0 150 G.P.D. = 300 G.P.C. <br />3. Soil Treatment Area Required. <br />2.0 percolation factor .r 300 G.P.U. = 600 Sq. Ft. F+nimum. However, it is <br />recommended that 750 Sq. Ft. be installed at this time. <br />4. Size and Number of Trenches. <br />3 trenches 3 feet wide and 83.3 feet long = 750 Sq. Ft. These trenches would <br />be spaced 7.5 feet apart center to center and no deeper than I foot deep in <br />the natural soil, unless an interceptor drain is used to lower the water <br />table. The trenches are shown more toward soil boring # 2 which had a lower <br />water table, since near soil boring q 1, they could only be 0.5 feet deep <br />in the natural soil. Some fill will be needed over the top if an interceptor <br />drain is not used. <br />5. Drainfreld Rock Needed. <br />28 cubic yds. of rock is needed to have 6 inches under and 2 inches over a <br />4 inch distribution pipe. <br />6. Septic Tanks. <br />Iwo septic tanks exist.
