© <br />VILLAGE OF ORONO <br />Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission, <br />October 2, 1972 <br />The Planning Commission met on the above date <br />with the following members present* Chair­ <br />man Poisson, Elliott, Hays, Kokesh, Rvcise, <br />Searles, and Van Nest. Absent: Gasch, <br />Kullberg, and Nicholls. <br />Poisson moved, Elliott seconded, that the <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting of September 18, <br />1972, be approved. Motion, Ayes (7) - Nays (0). <br />Eberhardt Construction - Lot size and width <br />variance. Lot 4, Vern Mar Manor. Members <br />studied the plat map of the area. Brought out <br />was: <br />1. <br />2. <br />Lot is about one-third acre, 95* X ISO*. <br />This is the last vacant lot in this sub­ <br />division. <br />3.It is serviced by sewer and has a water <br />unit assessment. <br />4.A building permit was issued by the staff <br />when they were assured that the engineer <br />from the company had everything in order. <br />The footings are poured and the project <br />has a stop order on it at the present. <br />An adjacent neighbor, James Lassek, objected <br />to filling so much of the lot with a rambler. <br />He thought a two-story house of smaller size <br />would be more appealing on this sized lot. <br />He was assured tho setbacks were met. <br />Searles moved, Poisson seconded, tiiat the <br />neighbor and contractor should try to come to <br />an agreement and the secretary should contact <br />the Village Attorney for a legal opinion. <br />Motion, Ayes (7) - Nays (0). <br />Phillip Greenly, attorney for Kenneth Harter, <br />presented letters he had received from adjacent <br />neighbors to show compliance with the Planning <br />Commission's recommendation of a prior meeting <br />that they be contacted. Most were neutral to <br />favorable. One was neutral to cold. In the <br />ensuing study, it was brought out: <br />7:30 P.M. <br />MINUTES <br />VARIANCE <br />Lot 4 ' Vern Mar Manor <br />DIVISIOK <br />3120 North Shore Drive <br />1. The lot is ISO* X 560* or 84,000 sq. ft. <br />just short of the required two acres. <br />2. It is ISO* wide, making for two 75* wide lots. <br />3.
