Our <br /> ultimate goal in wri�ng and sending this letter is to resolve the matter of your encroaching landscape structures <br /> without any further action and without any bickering. <br /> I know that you have had hopes of being able to purchase part of our yard forthe purpose of improving <br /> your Ivt and to accommodate your landscape wishes.We have expressed to you,on numerous occasions, our <br /> complete lack of irrterest in selling,to you or to anyone, any portion of our fot; regardless of your offer to pay the <br /> costs associated with doing so.We have,thus far,tolerated your total lack of respect for our property boundarles <br /> in the irrterest of neighborhood peace and harmony. Your encraaching boulder wall poses a serious dangerto <br /> our children.They have already faNen from the wall several times in the past They have fallen from their bicydes in <br /> our backyard and landed on your encroaching rock bed.We are unwilling to chance serious injury to our children <br /> for the sake of your landscaping plans.At this poirrt in time,we feel we are justi5ed in demanding that you comply <br /> with our rigFrts as property owners and do the right thing as a nelghbor. However,you have been aware, all along,thet we were not <br /> willing to sell you any po�ion of our yard.You knew it before you installed your boulder wall, you knew it before you <br /> installed your underground water spnnkler system and you knew it before you laid down your sod.We talked to you <br /> about the possibility of us installing a#ence along the property line,and the possibility of severing your underground <br /> sprinkler system pipes that you buned on our side of the{ot line.That possibility still exists.While we will do <br /> everything possible to awid your water system,the fact remains that you went ahead and buried parts of it in our <br /> yard,...knowing full well where the property lines ran.Therefore we cannot be held responsible for any damage to <br /> your system on our side of the lot line. <br /> Please, please do the right thing as a human being and as a neighbor and take care of this as <br /> expeditiously as possible.The sooner this matter is resolved,the sooner we can get back to being good neighbors. <br /> Thank you in adwance for your cooperation and understanding. <br /> 5incerely, <br /> Jason 8�L.ana Belcourt <br /> �G'`���.
