The
septic system Compliance Inspection for the above mentioned location was completed
on July 12, 2010.
A physical inspection of the entire septic system area was conducted. No
discharge of any kind from any of the septic components was evident.
The septic tank and pump chamber were probed and viewed at the time of
pumping to verify as precast with solid bottoms.
The mound type drain field was field located: Two soil borings were completed
and flagged in the drain Geld area. Tire soil borings revealed an absence of the
condition noted as "mottled soils" to 16 inches below surface grade. Mottled soils
indicate a high watertabie condition. Regulations for this system require 36 inches of
separation between the bottom of the drain field rock bed and the mottled soils. It is
apparent there is the reauired seoaration as the drain field is a mound type drain
field built to that specification in 1997.
Based upon my site evaluation and complete review of July 12, 2010 the
septic system has been classified as a passing or complying system. Please note
that no determination of future hydraulic performance has been nor can be made due
to unknown conditions during system construction, abuse of the system, inadequate
maintenance, or future water usage.
If you have any questions please contact me at (952) 461-2356. ThanksI
1
