MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING <br />HELD AUGUST 27, 1990 <br />• ATTENDANCE 7:00 P.M. <br />The Council met on the above date with the following members <br />present: Mayor James Grabek, Councilmembers Allan Nettles, <br />Barbara Peterson and Edward Callahan. Councilmember Goetten was <br />absent. The following represented the City staff: Acting City <br />Administrator Gerhardson, Building & Zoning Administrator <br />Mabusth, City Engineer Cook, City Attorney Barrett, and City <br />Recorder Scheffler. <br />CONSENT AGENDA* <br />Nettles asked that item #26 be removed from the Consent <br />Agenda. <br />Peterson asked to have item #31 removed from the Consent <br />Agenda. <br />It was moved by Nettles, seconded by Callahan, to approve <br />the Consent Agenda, with the exception of items #26 and ##31, <br />which were removed and discussed in the order appearing on the <br />Agenda. Motion, Ayes -4, Nays -0, Motion passed. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES* <br />It was moved by Nettles, seconded by Callahan, to approve <br />the Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting held August 13, 1990. <br />Motion,, Ayes -4.. Nays -0. Motion passed. <br />• LAKE 11INNETONKA CONSERVATION DISTRICT REPORT: <br />LMCD COMPREHENSIVE PLAN REVISION /1991 LMCD BUDGET <br />LMCD Representative. JoEllen Hurr was present, as was tir. <br />Gene Strommen, Executive Director. <br />Hurr said, "After discussions with the City Administrator. <br />we felt it would be best to allow Council additional time to <br />review the Comprehensive Plan. [de would discuss the plan at the <br />September 10, 1990 Council Meeting." <br />tiayor Grabek asked whether the plan presented was revised in <br />accordance to the comments presented by Orono and other cities. <br />Hurr replied, "That is correct, but I have not yet had an <br />opportunity to review it.
