.. . <br /> ���? <br /> � ' V <br /> O O <br /> �e. - � CITY of ORON4 <br /> � ��� <br /> '�' RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> �L9kESH04�G NO. � a ; �.� ` <br /> —___��_,__._—_ <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZOIVING CODE <br /> SECTION 10.24 SUBD. 5 (B) <br /> FILE NO. #2346 <br /> WHEREAS, Mark Palm and Pamela Palm (hereinafter "the applicants") are the <br /> owners of the property located at 1447 Park Drive within the City of Orono (hereinafter "the <br /> City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Lot 8, Block 15, "Saaa Hill, Revised, Hennepin County, MN" (hereinafter "the <br /> property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City for a variance to Municipal <br /> Zoning Code Section 10.24, Subd. 5 (B) to allow a second floor addition to an existing <br /> residence that encroaches 6.6' into the required side yard. A variance for side yard setback is <br /> required. <br /> NO`�, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was revie�ved as Zoning File #2346. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1B Single Family Lakeshore Residential <br /> Zoning District requiring 1 acre in area. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on March 16, 1998 <br /> and recommended approval of the proposed variances based upon the following <br /> findings: <br /> A. The subject lot does not meet lot width, lot area, hardcover or stnictural <br /> requirements. <br /> B.
