e743.1/1 ) <br /> K CITY of ORONO <br /> il# RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> 4kESHOg' NO. 8 6 14 <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br /> A VARIANCE TO <br /> MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 10.28, SUBDIVLSION 5 (B) <br /> FILE #2067 <br /> WHEREAS, Bruce and Terri Clark (hereinafter "the applicants") are owners of <br /> the property located at 625 Old Long Lake Road within the City of Orono (hereinafter "City") <br /> and legally described as follows: <br /> That part of the west half of the southwest quarter of Section 36, Township 118 North, <br /> Range 23 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian described as follows: <br /> Beginning at the point of intersection of the east line of said west half of the southwest <br /> quarter and the northerly line of the Minnesota Western Railway; thence north along the <br /> east line of said west half 211.46 feet to the center line of County Road No. 27; thence <br /> deflect to the left 93 degrees 21 minutes along the center line of the road 239.15 feet; <br /> thence southerly to a point in the northerly line of said Railway right-of-way, which point <br /> is 238.69 feet westerly, measured along said Railway right-of-way, from the point of <br /> beginning; thence easterly along said Railway right-of-way to the point of beginning, <br /> Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter "the property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City for a variance to Municipal <br /> Zoning Code Section 10.28, Subdivision 5 (B) to permit the construction of an attached garage <br /> addition located 23.4' from the west side lot line where a 30' side yard setback is normally <br /> required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1.
