r <br /> O <br /> O O <br /> b - CITY of ORONO <br /> P%f <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> SII 0 NO. 3 9 16 <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCES <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 10.03, SUBDIVISION 9 (B) AND <br /> SECTION 10.03, SUBDIVISION 9 (C) <br /> FILE NO. 2233 <br /> WHEREAS, Walter Holzer (hereinafter "the applicant") is the owner of the <br /> property located at 1130 North Shore Drive West within the City of Orono (hereinafter "the <br /> City") and legally described as follows: <br /> That part of the W 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of Section 7, Township 117, Range 23 <br /> West of the Fifth Principal meridian described as follows: Commencing at the <br /> Northwest comer of said Section; thence Easterly along the Northerly line <br /> thereof a distance of 402.5 feet; thence Southerly a distance of 2,124.4 feet <br /> along the North and South line that will intersect the East and West.Quarter <br /> Section line of said Section 7, 396.5 feet East of the West Quarter post of said <br /> Section 7 which shall be the point of beginning; thence continuing Southerly <br /> along said line a distance of 100 feet; thence Westerly and parallel with the <br /> Northerly line of said Section to the Westerly line of said Section; thence <br /> Northerly along said Westerly line to the intersection with a line drawn from the <br /> point of beginning parallel with the North line of said Section; thence East along <br /> parallel line to the point of beginning, according to the U.S. Government Survey <br /> thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter "the property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for variances to Municipal <br /> Zoning Code Section 10.03, Subdivision 9-Accessory Buildings, (B)-Height Restrictions and , <br /> Section 10.03, Subdivision 9-Accessory Buildings, (C-2)-Area Restrictions to permit the <br /> construction of an accessory structure 1,000 sq. ft. in size and 30' in height where 11' 6" in <br /> height is required.
