Since building permit application was not made within this time period, the
approvals granted with the variance application have expired.
In order to construct the detached garage as originally proposed, a new application for variances
will be required. The variance application with application deadline dates is attached, for your
information. If you receive the necessary approvals to build the proposed detached garage, you
will have one year from the date of the approval to obtain a building permit. Also, variance
approvals run with the property, not with the property owner.
If you have any questions regarding this letter, please do not hesitate to contact me at (952) 249-
4600.
Sincerely, `
 _
nnifera ut `
P . _...
City Planner
Enclosure
Telephone(952)249-4600 • Fax(952)249-4616
www ci.orono.mn.us
