CI^Y OF ORONO <br /> Regular Meeting of the Orono Council, 7: 00 P.M. <br /> August 29 , 1978 <br /> The Orono Council met on the above date with <br /> the following members present: Piayor Van Nest, <br /> Councilmembers P�assengale, Paurus, and Pesek. <br /> Councilmember Butler arrived at 7: 23 P.M. <br /> Also present: City Administrator Benson, City <br /> Planner Olson, and City Attorney P4alkerson. <br /> Absent: City Engineer Olson. � <br /> Paurus moved, Pesek seconded, to approve the CONSENT AGENDA* <br /> Consent Agenda* , e�cept item #22 , with all staff <br /> data and supportive information to be included <br /> in the Minutes in. the sequence they occur. Motion, <br /> Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . <br /> Lake PRinnetonka Conservation District representative LMCD REPORT <br /> Norman Paurus discussed the proposed LP�CD policies <br /> and actions. <br /> I�ayor Van Nest cor.unented that the City Council and PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> Planning Commission will hold a joint meeting at <br /> � 7: 30 P.M. , September 21, 1978 and that the City � <br /> Planners should attend. At that tirne, it would <br /> be appropriate to plan our future joint meetings. <br /> No comments from the Park Commission. PARK COMMISSION <br /> b4r. Alan Olson, City Planner, entered into the SUBDIVISION & <br /> record a memo update on the request of Tom Leach, CONDITIONAL USE <br /> 2535 Shadywood Road, for a subdivision and conditional 2535 Shadywood Road <br /> use permit, dated August 23, 1978, which states-: #344 <br /> Tom Leach <br /> All requirements of preliminary plat approval have <br /> been completed. The proposal included consideration <br /> of a duplex unit on Lot 3. Because final planning <br /> has not been completed for the dunlex, final <br /> approval of the conditional use permit will have <br /> to be delayed. The park fee has been paid on the <br /> basis of future duplex approval. <br /> The plat includes a 30 ft. driveway and utility <br /> easement over Lot 1 to serve Lot 3 and a 30 ft. <br /> utility easement along the entire southeast <br /> side for future installation of storm seF�er. <br /> I recommend approval of the final olat according <br /> to the attached resolution and deferral of action <br /> on the conditional use permit pending receipt of <br /> a complete site plan. <br /> (Continued) <br />
