Also present: <br /> � City Administrator Benson, Building & Zoning <br /> Administrator P�Iuhich, City Attorney P�alkerson, <br /> � and City Engineer Frank. <br /> � <br /> � Mayor Van Nest read the following resolution RESOLUTION #788 <br /> and presented it as a bronzed plaque to Mr. Gary Gary Welsh <br /> � �7elsh for his dedicated service to the City. <br /> � RESOLUTION #788 <br /> � A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION FOR OUTSTANDIiIG <br /> SERVICE TO THE VILLAGE OF ORONO <br /> i � <br /> � 6�FiEREAS, the Village of Orono has individuals <br /> who contribute outstanding service to the <br /> � community to help achieve basic goals that <br /> enhance and perpetuate the "guality of life" <br /> � for the residents of Orono; and <br /> �WHER�AS, Gary ��Jelsh, as a resident for the past <br /> • ten years, has been an active spokesman for the <br /> principals and policies that will protect and <br /> � preserve Lake Minnetonka and the Village of Orono <br /> for future generations; and <br /> • <br /> WHEREAS, Gary 6Velsh has given outstanding service <br /> � to the Village of Orono having served as Councilman <br /> and having identified, clarified and drafted into <br /> � meaningful legislation the basic goals of the <br /> Village of Orono that enhance and perpetuate the <br /> � "quality of life" within Orono; and <br /> � WHEREAS, the Village of Orono desires to recognizP <br /> � the significant contribution Gary �delsh has made <br /> to tlie overall welfare of Orono. <br /> � <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village of <br /> � Orono expresses its appreciation to Gary Welsh for <br /> • his years of loyal and dedicated service to Orono <br /> and special commendation to both he and his family <br /> � for the time spent on behalf of the Village of Orono. <br /> � Paurus moved, Butler seconded, to adopt Resolution <br /> #788, A Resolution Of Appreciation For Outstanding <br /> � Service To The Village Of Orono. i�totion, Ayes (4) - <br /> �ays (0) . <br /> � <br /> � <br /> f <br />
