The bottom of the treatment area must be located at least 3' above the saturated soils. This s�•stem <br /> is designed with b inches of rock. � <br /> The soils at a depth of 1?" have a percolation rate averagina 9.9 MPI. <br /> A 22�0 gallon septic tanks needs to be installed. All tanks need to be insulated if there is less than two feet <br /> of cover o��er the top of the tanks. Clean outs must be installed on the end of the laterals for maintenance. <br /> Use 7;32 inch perforations on the laterals. <br /> A 1300 aallon pumping chamber will need to be installed to lift the effluent to the treatment area. The <br /> power suppl� and s���itches must be located outside the manhole and pumping chamber in a weatherproof <br /> enclosure. A ���arning device must be installed with lijht and sound devices; this is in case of a pump <br /> failure. A flow measurement device must be installed. Including but not limited to a water meter,event <br /> counter, runninQ time clocks or electronically controlled dosing. <br /> Kee�all heavv equi�ment off of the oroposed treatment areas before durin�and after construction <br /> The area araund both sites must be fenced off bv the contractor before anv constructian be�ins <br /> With proper installation and maintenance,this s��stem should have no problem in treating septic effluent <br /> effectively. Nothine other than era� �+�ater.(laundry, showers,etc.) Human Nater and toilet tissue should be <br /> disposed of into the septic tanks. Garbage disposals are not recommended.
