The s.ystem consists of 1-1500 gallon dua) ch mber <br /> tank revers�ed using the 500 gallon side as a trash trap, the 1000 gallon side a a <br /> dosing cha�nber, 1 75U gallon Multi-Flo Was#ewater Treatment System � a pre surized <br /> #rench syst�m approxi�mately 111' long = 1002sq.ft. The system is classified a a <br /> PerForman¢e System under Minnesota Chapter?Q80,0179 rules, The original �oil <br /> borings cerinpleted by S-P Testing, Inc. on 4-28�03 found mottled soils (redox f�atures) <br /> at 32"to 4�" below grade. The system is designed 12" to 18"with a 14" to 22"j <br /> separation'from the bottom of the system & redox features, 12" of separation is� <br /> �equired. <br /> Soil boring�#1 was coi`r�pleted at the south end of the system which found mott ed soil at <br /> 34" below�rade, typi�al of the originaf design. The remaining a�ea around th system <br /> was distur�ed during �onstruction, but was not disturbed in the area of boring 1. Both <br /> south & nqrth ends of the trenches appear to be ins#�iled 12" into the original oil. <br /> With the rr�ot�led soils afi 32" in the original design, this leaves approxim�tely 0" of <br /> separatioru from the bdttom of the system & redox features. This system is in � <br /> compliancg with Nfinnesvta Chapter 7080 rules. I <br /> Due to fihi$ system being classified as a Pertormance system, monitoring is re uired on <br /> a yearly b�sis. Monitnring includes inspecting the drainfield 1 ticne a year at cost of <br /> $50.00, S�nrieing the IUlulti-Flo 2 times a year at a cosfi of$180.00. These co tracts <br /> are billed in January eNery year& run ftom January 1, fihrough December 31. Fecal <br /> Colifarn�t t�sts are completed every year in August, September at a cost ofi$8 .00. The <br /> fecsl Colifprm test results have been less#han 10 col/100 ml at each testing. he <br /> coliforms have #o be I�ss thah 2000 col/ml.
