As mentioned the proposed structure albeit underground is still considered an <br /> accessory structure and must meet all required setbacks. A detached accessory structure must be set back 10'from the <br /> principal structure; cannot be forward (streetward) of the principal structure; and must be 30' from the side yard <br /> property line. Attached is our informational handout pertaining to Residential Accessory Buildings. <br /> The property is located in the RR-1B zoning district and is 2.53 acres in size. The maximum allowed accessory structure <br /> building footprint is 1,200 square feet for the acreage of this property.
