.*am. .V <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MINUTES FOR SEPTEMBER 23, 1996 <br />• ROLL <br />The Council met on the above mentioned date with the following members present: <br />Mayor Edward J. Callahan, Jr., Council Members J. Diann Goetten, Gabriel Jabbour, and <br />JoEllen Hurr. Charles Kelley was absent. Representing Staff were City Administrator <br />Ron Moorse, City Attorney Tom Radio, City Engineer Glenn Cook, Building and Zoning <br />Administrator Jeanne Mabusth, Assistant Planning and Zoning Administrator Michael <br />Gaffron, and Recorder Sherry Frost. Mayor Callahan called the meeting to order at 7:02 <br />p.m. <br />( * #1) CONSENT AGENDA <br />Items 98, 11, 14, and 15 were added to the Consent Agenda. <br />Hurr moved, Goetten seconded, to approve the Consent Agenda as amended. Vote: <br />Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />(42) REGULAR MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 9, 1996 <br />• Hurr moved, Goetten seconded, to approve the Minutes of the Regular City Council <br />Meeting of September 9, 1996, Vote: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />PARK COMMISSION COMMENTS <br />No Park Commission member was present at this time. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION COMMENTS <br />Planning Commissioner Stoddard had no comments. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Lloyd Fairbanks, 95 Willow Drive North, informed the Council that the culvert he <br />reported problems with at the June meeting has been ground down and the road <br />blacktopped within two weeks after his request. He wished to express his appreciation <br />for the quick response. <br />
