• MINUTES OF THE CANVASSING BOARD MEETING <br />HELD NOVEMBER 4, 2004 AT 5:45 P.M. <br />• <br />ROLL <br />The Council met as the Canvassing Board on the above date and time in the Orono Council <br />Chambers. The following members were present: Mayor Barbara Peterson, Council Members Lili <br />McMillan, Jim Murphy, Bob Sansevere and Jim White. The following represented City staff: City <br />Administrator Ron Moorse and City Clerk Lin Vee. <br />Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 5:55 p.m. <br />Council members were given results of the November 2, 2004 General Election. <br />Council Member Murphy moved, Council Member Sansevere seconded, to declare Barbara Peterson <br />as Mayor for a 2 -year term beginning in January 3, 2005, to declare Lili McMillan and Jim White as <br />Council Members for 4 -year terms beginning January 3, 2005, and to certify the results of the <br />November 2, 2004 municipal election as follows: <br />Mayor - Elect one for 2 -year terns <br />Barbara Peterson <br />Write -in <br />receiving 3,536 votes <br />receiving 84 votes <br />Council Members - Elect two for 4 -year terms <br />Lili McMillan <br />Jim White <br />Walter J. Koronkiewicz <br />Write -in <br />Vote: 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />receiving 2,636 votes <br />receiving 2,184 votes <br />receiving 1,126 votes <br />receiving 39 votes <br />Council Member McMillan moved, Council Member Murphy seconded, to adjourn the Canvassing <br />Board at 5:56 p.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />is Lin a S.
