This is the north-south road along the eastern shore of Long Lake that <br /> connects Old Long Lake Road to Spring Hill Road. <br /> The correct name of this road is East Long Lake Road. It is not"Long Lake Road East" <br /> nor"Long Lake Road E." as it incorrectly appears on the Hennepin County property <br /> database and apparently on the County's half-section maps. This has caused problems <br /> for property owners and others attempting to search the database, as typing in the correct <br /> road name results in a"No Records Found" screen. <br /> This road has always been lcnown locally as East Long Lake Road, and Hennepin County <br /> Emergency Dispatch refers to it as East Long Lake Road for emerbency purposes. <br /> Placing the word "East" at the end of the name connotes that there is also a Lonb Lake <br /> Road West, and/or that the point where they connect is at some significant "zero point" in <br /> the address numbering grid, and/or that this is an east-west road. None of the above is <br /> true. In fact, there is no Long Lake Road West associated with East Long Lal:e Road. <br /> Please change your records system to use the correct name East Long Lake Road.
