It is <br /> our opinion that this swale, approximately 2 . 5 - 4 feet wide and <br /> + 4 - 6" in depth, will be able to handle tl-ie 100 year storm (or <br /> 5 . 9" rainfall in 24 hours) . The addition of an area of riprap as <br /> shown on our survey and photo will prevent erosion to the swale and <br /> keep the water from entering the neighbor' s property to the north. <br /> I hope the enclosed information will document this swale to your <br /> satisfaction.
