JOINT <br /> ' COMPARABLE WOR`PH STUDY <br /> WHEREAS Minnesota Statutes 471.991 enacted in 1984 <br /> requires all political subdivisions in the State to establish � <br /> equitable compensation relationships among its employees; and <br /> WHERE�S the Metropo�litan Area Management Association, <br /> the Coalition of Outstate Cities, the Minnesota Municipal <br /> . Utilities Association and other related public jurisdictions <br /> desire to meet the requirements of the law through a joint job <br /> evaluation study; and <br /> WHEREAS the Metropolitan Area Management Association in <br /> consul�tation with r�presentatives of outstate cities and after <br /> . meeting and confering with representatives of organized labor <br /> . screened and selected �ontr_ol Data �usines Advisors, Inc. as the <br /> consultant to nerfor,m the study; and <br /> WHEREAS the cost of the study is to be divided among the <br /> participatkng jurisdictions in the following manner: Each entity <br /> wilY pay a base charge of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,�Jf�fQ.�10) and <br /> a charg� per employee of Thirty-five Dollars ($35.(�f�) per person. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br /> Orono that it hereby approves participation of the City in the .� <br /> Joint Comnar�ble Worth Study to be conducted by Control Data <br /> Business Advisors, .
