The entire waste <br /> and vent system was found to be substandard in that it does not conform to any code, past or <br /> present. In addition, the bathroom drains in the basement probably present additional hazards. <br /> The bathtub drain and the sink drain are not connected to any waste line at all. On these two <br /> fixtures, when you pull the plug the water runs across the floor and into a floor drain.
