We understand that the deck will be slightly <br />higher than the original deck and we appreciate the City's concern. However, given that the deck will fit <br />completely within the prior decks footprint, will be set back further from the lake than the original and <br />will be architecturally more attractive, we believe that the new deck will be an improvement. <br />We hope this letter addresses your concern about how this new deck will be received by the adjacent <br />neighbors.
